Move Around in Furano in Winter

Hi,

Wonder if there is any public transport available in Furano for travelling from Furano station to cheese factory or wine factory during winter (dec). Google around and only found the buses are only available in summer. We don't really want to rent car for travelling around as we have never drive in snow condition before.

Public transportation around Furano is bad even in summer. It is even worse in winter. If you don't want to drive (not recommended to people without winter driving experience), you will probably have to rely on taxis.

You may have to phone one. The staff at the cheese factory may be able to help you.

Or you could rent a taxi for several hours that drives you all around Furano. It is somewhat expensive and may be difficult to arrange without Japanese language skills.
