How to get to Heda

I plan to visit Heda (Shizuoka) next January. I have thought to do that from Numazu by boat (preferably) or bus. I need information on schedules and how to get from Numazu train station to the port or the bus station. I do not know Japanese, I can not use a site in this language.
My visit is one day only. Or it is better two?

If you travel by land, I recommend to take trains as far as Shuzenji (http://www.hyperdia.com/) from where there are buses about every 2 hours to Heda. Departure times are shown under the left most column:

I am not aware of an approach by boat. The only boat connection I know about on the west coast is the Shimizu-Toi boat.

The regular boat from Numazu to Heda was discontinued in August(you can charter it if you pay 60000 yen).
