I'm going on vacation to japan in December and plan to buy the new iphone 6 Plus . The phone purchased in Japan ( unlocked) work in Europe? It will be difficult to find the ipone in stores? The Apple stores are tax free ? Thank you

Probably but it depends on what network you plan to use it on.
