Is it possible for same day delivery of a luggage? i.e.,
Sending from Fukuoka airport in the morning
Receiving at a hotel in Kumamoto in the evening.

I would say, no. The standard is next-day delivery, except for for example from Honshu to Hokkaido or to Okinawa, which takes one extra day.
The best you can do with "takuhaibin," if you have a big piece of luggage, would be to send it to your hotel, take a small overnight bag with you (as you sightsee in Fukuoka during the day), so that you will have enough for the first night in Kumamoto, or something like that.
