I will be traveling from Nagoya to Nagano and back to Nagoya. Is there a JR pass in which I can purchase?

If that's the only long intercity journey you plan to take, I'm not aware of any pass (national or regional) that will pay off.
The Wide View Shinano limited express service runs (almost) hourly between Nagoya and Nagano, and a single round trip will cost less than 16,000 yen which is far lower than the cost of a 7-day JR Pass.
In this case, purchasing separate tickets is likely to be the better choice.
