This is my first trip to Japan. I'm thinking of going to Okinawa in late January or early February 2015. Do I need to rent a car or can I get around efficiently on the public transport system? If I did rent a car, are the street signs in English? How many days would you recommend staying for? What are some of the best sights to see? Has anyone tried staying at a bed-and-breakfast, or am I better off staying at a hotel?
