Hi, may i know if it is safe and worthwhile to visit Yamadera during winter? Plan to go this end December. Thanks!

Depends on weather in Dec not always snow but best season is autumn no good maybe. Yamadera is no lift and escalator about 1000 steps only not so easy to up/down. So if all steps ice/snow very dangerous like this. http://4travel.jp/travelogue/10844056
