Can I buy a Kyoto Sightseeing Pass in advance 2014/12/25 17:30
My wife & I will be in Kyoto for part of January/February & a 2-day Pass is the best option for us over one 2-day period. Can we purchase the Pass before Day 1 or do we have to start using it on the day we purchase it?

Similarly, can the Kyoto City Bus Pass be purchased one or more days before we want to use them

Thanks for your assistance.

You can buy the bus pass right on the bus. Ask for "Ichi Nichi Kippu".

Here is a site similar to Hyperdia, but for bus and train in Kyoto. But you must have the exact name of the bus stop or station in order to get the correct route.
