Narita late arrival: How to get to Tokyo? 2015/1/4 12:51
My friend recommended the Narita Express train to get from the airport to Tokyo Station, and then a taxi to my hotel (in Shiba). But due to my late arrival at 21.05 on a Sunday night, there is no more Narita Express that day! Also the Limousine Bus has stopped running by then. Are there any good options to get into Tokyo and then to my hotel? I will have 2 big bags. Please help if you know...thanks!

Spend the night in Narita and go to Tokyo the next morning. There are plenty of hotels with (generally free) shuttle buses from the airport which run in the late evening.

There is a NEX train which leaves NRT Terminal 2 at 21:46 (I dunno what your terminal is and what exact date), but I don't know if you can manage this.

Since you said you have two big bags... the alternatives are gonna be a little inconvenient compared to the comfortable Nex Express.

The JR Sobu line leaves at 22:17, you have to transfer at Chiba station.

Or us the Keisei skyliner, transfer at Nippori station to Yamanote line...

There is also the Tokyo Shuttle bus:

Which leaves at 23:00?

Just for the record, the last JR Sobu Line rapid service departs at 11:02pm on Sundays and you don't have to change trains until you reach Tokyo Station. If you wish, you can still transfer to JR Yamanote Line to Tamachi Station after you arrive to Tokyo Stn.

But generally speaking, the Keisei Bus may be more comfortable since it makes less stops.

Either way, there still are options at that hour of the day, so unless your flight is delayed, you can just go to the information counter at Narita Airport to find your way.

The easiest way is to move by the access narita bus service from Narita airport to "Ginza Station", then catch a taxi to Shiba-koen.
The bus fare costs you 1,000 Yen, pay directly to the bus driver(there is no bus ticket counter, you need a 1,000 Yen note), go to "Ginza Station", and then catch a taxi for Shiba-koen which is about 3.5 km away with 1,300 Yen include nigh taxi charges incurred between 22:00-5:00.
I don't think you can walk between Ginza and Shiba-koen unless you are a frequent commuter between the places(it takes more than an hour with two luggage).
You can get off at Tokyo Station if you want but the distance between Tokyo Station and Shiba-koen is far more than from Ginza.

The time table for access narita from Narita Airport is

22:10-22:20(Narita) - 23:35(Ginza)
22:30-22:40(Narita) - 23:55(Ginza)
22:50-23:00(Narita) - 0:15(Ginza)
The departure time at Narita may vary depending on the terminal you are.

A big thank you to Firas, asahana, Uco and tokyo friend 48! I see there are several options. I had not even considered staying in Narita...that might even be best if I am very tired. Thanks again to all!
