Are there any wax food schools in Japan? 2015/1/13 23:47
I love in South Africa but am very interested in learning the art of Japanese wax food. Are there any school in Japan that teaches all techniques and methods? or could you recommend any other ways i could learn the art? (books etc.)

In Kappabashi there are several fake food stores, and some allow you to try and make some yourself in a workshop. I don't know about any schools (and actually I think most of the foods in kappabashi are made of plastic), so maybe that's not very helpful, sorry...

Courses of food samples Although there are, perhaps, it is difficult if you do not speak Japanese.

The town of Gujō in Gifu Prefecture might be a little out of the way, but a couple of food replica workshops there offer classes and demonstrations:
