Do snow monkey bath in onsen in spring? 2015/1/18 19:55
I'm planning to visit Jigokudani Monkey Park between April and May; I would like to know if it's easy to see the "snow monkey" taking bath in the onsen even if the cold and snowy days are ended. Thanks.

Yes, they do. Even in August some were in the water - although lured there by food thrown in by the park warden. In the cool spring, they are likely still bathing for warmth.

Just not a lot under half numbers than winter covered snow around.
All monkeys are pure wild not zoo animal coming only cold days.

Don't touch them!

Some monkeys loves treat like this.
