Games and accessories for DS and PSP 2015/1/24 16:38
I'm looking for games for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. These systems are beginning to get a little old, so it's very difficult to find games for them back at home.

I have read other posts on this forum, but they seem to be a few years old. A shop that is often mentioned is Messe, I plan visiting this. Are there any other places I should go to in Tokyo?

Of course, I would love to find some games in English, as my Japanese is not good enough yet.

I'm mostly interested in games like Zelda, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre and others like that. Danmaku and other types of shooting games would be fine in Japanese, too.

What is the typical price for DS and PSP games these days in Tokyo?

I am also looking for accessories like game disc / cartridge holders, protective cases etc.

I would be happy for any tips you may have. Thank you.

Messe or Messe San-o was merged with "TRADER", therefore all former messe stores are now operated as TRADER.

Visit "Super Potato" in Akihabara. SP is only the game store I can think of in Akihabara area.

and, Sofmap Amusement(6F), next to SEGA

It's extremely difficult to find DS and PSP soft these days in Akihabara. You can easily find online shops.

Also check out various book-off stores, lot's of used games for those systems. But forget about finding any english versions, very rare.

Thanks for the answers.

I went to one Trader, not sure how many are there. Impressive collection of Gameboy and Famicom games. Didn't find anything that I really needed to have, but I'll go back.

I need to look for Superpotato. I saw some PSP titles in Lammtarra but I was told they didn't have any shooting games.

The other game store I can consider is "Liberty".
I'm sure Liberty No.6 BLDG store sells used games. The map below shows Liberty No.4, 5 and 10 also sell new/used game soft. But I think it's extremely difficult to find English version game soft.

I think Lammtarra shops only sell new games.
