If you check out early on the 2nd:
2nd: Take bus from Kawaguchiko to Kofu, the trains via Matsumoto to Shinano-Omachi. Traverse part of the Alpine Route and stay at a hotel along the route.
3rd: Complete the Alpine Route to Toyama and take the shinkansen back to Tokyo.
If you don't check out early on the 2nd:
2nd: Take a bus from Kawaguchiko to Matsumoto and overnight in Matsumoto or Shinano-Omachi.
3rd: Do the entire Alpine Route and return to Tokyo in the evening.

Thank you for the advise. Is this plan advisable. 02 Nov. Stay a night at Toyama 03 Nov. Take the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route and return to Toyama via Shinano Omachi. 04 Nov - Proceed to Tokyo.

The trip from Kawaguchiko to Toyama is even more complicated and time-consuming than the trip from Kawaguchiko to Shinano-Omachi. That is why I recommend to travel the Alpine Route from east to west. Furthermore, the western end of the Alpine Route is prone to road closures during November. If you approach from the east, you could still see the Alpine Route even if the approach from Toyama is closed. That is another advantage of traveling from east to west.
