I'm going to Japan in March for the first time by arriving at Osaka and flies off from Tokyo and I have some difficulty to finalize my itinerary...
I've done a lot and research and was originally planning this trip:
D1 : Arrival at Osaka at 07:00am - Night in Osaka
D2 : Osaka - Night in Osaka
D3 : Kyoto - Night in Kyoto
D4 : Kawaguchiko - Night in Kawaguchiko
D5 : Naeba Sky Resort - Night in Naeba
D6 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyo
D7 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyo
D8 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyoo
D9 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyo activation)
D10 : Leave Tokyo

So what is your question????
What is activation??
I would personally cut a few days off Tokyo and put them in Kyoto. Just one or two is enough.

My suggestion is :
D1 : Arrival at Osaka at 07:00am - Night in Osaka
D2 : Osaka - Night in Osaka
D3 : Kyoto - Night in Kyoto
D4 : Yudanaka Onsen
D5 : Yudanaka Onsen - Ryuo Ski Resort
D6 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyo
D7 : Tokyo or Lake Kawaguchi - Day trip to Lake Kawaguchi or stay there
D8 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyoo
D9 : Tokyo - Night in Tokyo activation)
D10 : Leave Tokyo
