Kyoto to Hakata on Apr 29th 2015/1/30 22:52
I will arrive in Kyoto on Apr 25th. I plan to take the train from Kyoto to Hakata (Fukuoka) on Apr 29th (beginning of golden week). Please tell me what I should expect in terms of train travel on Apr 29th (Wed). What's the chance of getting seat reservation made successfully ?

Generally, as soon as you arrive in Kyoto then try to reserve a seat.

Every year is different. But if you try really early, you have a shot at getting a good seat.
Hakata is a fun place to see for a few days. Be sure not to miss the beautiful Nanzoin Temple; it is a hidden gem that few know about:
