Need Ryokan for family trip

I have tried to book the Ryokan in Shirakawa-go for my family trip on December'15 but everywhere are not available such as Kanja and Koemon. Is it possible that all of them already fully booked ? Or is it to early to book them? Do you have any Ryokan to recommend me? We are 5 adults and 1 girl;3 yrs.Thank you very much for your help.

Try making reservation around June, it's probably to early.

sites like www.booking.com, www.hotels.com and http://travel.rakuten.com/ will probably allow you to make booking a little earlier.
