By tje way, does anyone know when Tsukiji market will be transfered to another place? I read something about this transfer around Spring 2015.
Thanks in advance!

The Sumo tournament begins on 10th May. If you visit there on the 13th or 14th of May, I think the day ticket is available at the counter, because the early week of tournament is not so busy. If you intend to visit there on the 17 of May, a booking is recommended. It's already the half way of tournament.
Tsukiji market moves to Toyosu in November 2016 as expected. The new market place is still under the development.

Buy your sumo tickets online as soon as they are released. The recent popularity has made tickets harder to get and January'15 in Tokyo was a sell out (all 15 days) for the first time in 17 years (if I heard the reports correctly).
I got my last set of tickets from http://sumo.pia.jp/en/ for Fukoka and was lucky I was going on a Thursday (less popular) and there are collection points at the venue.
