Which December date to stay in Karuizawa

Hi all! This is somewhat a silly question but thinking of booking a cottage in Karuizawa Prince either on Dec. 24 or Dec. 27. We don't ski but just want to play in the snow and experience overall a winter wonderland surrounding.
Will there be real snow by Dec. 24 in this area?
Will there be significant heavier snow on Dec. 27 than Dec. 24?
I am asking because the price difference is big for the 3day gap.
But if snow (or heavier snow ) is assured on Dec. 27, then I would gladly book it as long as it's a big difference in snowfall for those 2 dates.
I understand that Karuizawa makes artificial snow when they open in November and that it has less snow than EchigoYuzawa.

December 27 would have a better chance of snow but as it is only a few days difference, do not expect much.

Hi jr. So it's not guaranteed also that it will really snow on Dec 27 just a bigger chance...yeah, only a 3 day difference but price difference for the room is big...
