Kumamoto Airport to Kurokawa Onsen

Hi i will be arriving in Kumamoto Airport and heading for Kurokawa Onsen. Understand that there is a direct bus from the airport to the onsen village. Would like to enquire the bus schedules from the airport to the onsen and back. Also do i need to make a reservation or i can just buy the tickets on the day of arrival and departure?

Reservations can be made in advance, but I think if vacant seats are available, you can board even without a reservation.

Depending on when you are going, I would recommend making a reservation. Heck, I would maybe make a reservation anyway just to be safe regardless of the season.

When I went to Kurokawa in mid-May of last year there were a bunch of disappointed tourists who arrived at the bus stop only to find out that the bus was booked full.
