Hi There, Very excited as me and my better half are making our first trip to japan from 8th march to 18th march.
I would like you help on the two things below.
a) We will be staying in osaka 8 & 9th March Kyoto 10& 11 th march and tokyo 12 -17th march.
We would like to visit a wisteria flower tunnel maybe from tokyo. Would this be the right time to visit and which is the right tunnel to visit.
b) We would also like to visit a snow area with maybe trying out sking but more interested in the gondola rides. Which place is a good day trip from Tokyo to do. We thought of visiting Yuzawa. Would this be nice. I have also heard Mr. Fuji has a snow slope.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Cheers.

I tried to visit the Wisteria tunnels in Kyushu at the end of April and beginning of May two years ago.
My guess is that they would have been in full bloom the at the end of the first week in May.
They Wisteria will not even start to bud in March.
