How long from a tourist to spouse visa?

Me and my wife just applied for the visa change about 2 days ago. The man at immigration told us it would take from 2 weeks to one month. We are in Shizuoka City, which I assume is a lot less busy than bigger cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, etc.
Has anyone on here obtained their spouse visa within 2 weeks or less?

I went from a work visa to spouse visa, and it took a week. I have heard from others that theirs took over a month. It depends entirely on each case, so don't worry so much about it. It'll come when it comes.

My friend waited about 2 months in Tokyo.
I got mine in Yokohama from work visa to spouse within a week.

Mine took 2 days. Do you need it faster than 2 weeks or are you just wondering about the timing?
