Japan Building Insurance for Foreigners 2015/3/30 11:39
We have recently purchased a building in Japan and are trying to find an insurance company to cover fire, building and earthquake insurance. Does anyone here have any recommendations for insurance for foreigners?

If you want to purchase insurance, I am a familiar English speaking employee of insurance company.
And I have written an article about earth quake insurance in Japan.
I think you can find some valuable information here.

I am using Tokio Marine Nichido, but fortunately I have never had to use them. I live in an area that is not prone to earthquakes (or other natural disasters) and pay just around 10,000 yen per year for a relatively large, residential building.
