hello , i am also a half japanese. my concern is i got a japanese passport . so in the airport only the japanese passport and ticket is needed to present or do we need some other paper requirement that the airport will ask? because i heard about the exit clearance. what is that for? should i need that or no need to get it?

Until recently, Japanese passport holders had to fill in a form (which you could pick up at the airport) when leaving the country. I think they stopped doing that now. As to the why, I guess the government wanted to keep track of where their citizens were going.
