I'm currently in Kyoto and won't be back down to visit the parks in Tokyo till the 6th April. I know the forecast for the best viewing is from the 29th March till 6th April. What are my chances of seeing the sakura during their peak? And if not how much would they of deteriorated by that date?

It's gonna depend mostly on how strong the rains are that are forecast for the weekend. Anything more than a light drizzle could be season ending.
