I have 2 nights that I still haven't decided where to sleep in japan, I've been to Nikko once but it wasn't near the cherry blossom, now I hear that Hirosaki castle in April is beautiful but I cannot choose WHICH one to go, any advice?

In average year cherry blossom can be enjoyed during mid April in Nikko and late April in Hirosaki Castle.
