I¡¦m travelling to Osaka end of this year together with my husband and 2 kids (2 years old and 5 years old); tentatively my itinerary is as below. Day 1 - Arrive at Kansai Airport @ 8:25am-„³ Kyoto Q: should I purchase an Icoca & Haruka package and use it for the train to Kyoto? As I¡¦m traveling with 2 kids and with luggage, is it convenient for us to take train? Day 2-3 - Kyoto Q: 2 days sight-seeing in Kyoto more than enough or should I shorten 1 day in Kyoto? Day 4 - Himeji Half Daytrip from Kyoto Q: As I¡¦m travelling to Kinosaki Onsen, should I buy Kansai WIDE Area Pass to travel to Himeji? Day 5 - Nara Daytrip from Kyoto Q: can use Kansai WIDE Area Pass? Day 6 - Kyoto to Kinosaki Onsen, use Kansai WIDE Area Pass and spend 1 night Day 7 - Kinosaki Onsen to Osaka, spend the remaining day and the night in Osaka. Q: is 1 night stay in OSAKA too short? Day 8 - Depart from Kansai Airport @ 11am Also, pls recommend Ryokan and hostel for our stays in Kyoto, Kinosaki Onsen and Osaka.
Thanks!

1 night stay in Osaka is sufficient unless you love your shopping. 2 days are not enough for Kyoto yet alone one day Buy the Kansai wide area pass if you are using it to travel to Nara and Kinosaki Onsen and back
