Kyoto Sightseeing Pass 2015/4/16 02:45
We will be making two trips from Osaka to Kyoto using JR West Wide in a week's time. One day for Arashimaya area and the other day will be Higashiyama. We wonder if it is worthwhile getting a Kyoto Sightseeing Pass (1 -Day) for the day we visit Higashiyama or pay as we go.

If you are going to Higashiyama i take it you would like to walk about those small lanes. If so, public transportation would not be widely used. Which leads to the logical conclusion of not getting the pass.

I agree with the above comment. When I went to Northern and Southern Higashiyama (separate occasions), I caught one bus there, walked to all the sights, then caught the bus back. The Lonely Planet guide for Japan has great walking tours for the Higashiyama areas that take about 3-4 hours each.
