Hakone Lake Hotel 2015/4/19 04:08
Hi guys!

I'm traveling to Hakone in May 2015 and would like to get the Hakone Tozan Bus timetable for:
1) Odawara Station to Hakone Lake Hotel
2) Hakone Lake Hotel to Hakone-Yumoto Station

How long will these journey take?

It would be great if you can provide a simple explanation on how to interpret the timetable as I can't read Japanese (sadly).
Thank you & I really appreciate your help!! ^^

Dear Uji,

Thank you for your fast reply!
Do you think it's convenient to travel on the bus with a regular size luggage each for a group of 5 people?
Grateful for your help, thanks! :D

I generally don't think it is comfortable to travel with luggage. But when the bus is not busy, it should be no problem. When the bus is busy, however, it can be uncomfortable. Weekends tend to be much busier than regular weekdays.

The bus is not full as most tourists travel via train, cable car, ropeway, etc. on the mail loop.
Togendai ropeway staion is just a few min. walk from the hotel.
I took a bus(every 15-20min.) from Yumoto to the hotel~40-45min. dropped off the luggage and took ropeway back up and boat to Hakonemachi port. Very conveniently located and very quiet strolling in the evening and the morning around the lake shore as almost no traffic and a lot of birds.

Dear all,
My plan is to take the bus straight to the hotel and start with the boat tour of the lake, since i have two nights there and can afford to adopt a slower pace.
Thank you all for your sincere replies, I really appreciate it! :D
