Will be traveling to Osaka from Tokyo, just need a one-way ticket of shinkansen train. Since we are flying back from there. Where can I purchase a ticket in advance? Is it available in Narita airport or at Tokyo station? Which place is more convenient to buy? Thanks.

At any JR station, either at the ticket window or from one of the blue ticket machines.
Is it available in Narita airport or at Tokyo station? Which place is more convenient to buy? Thanks.
It's available at both. Either is convenient, however I'd probably do it at your leisure in Tokyo.
