Tokyo Skytree

We'll be going to the Tokyo Skytree from Sensoji Temple and wonder should we take to the Tokyo Skytree or Oshiage Station? We will have the Subway open ticket then and hope to use subway or Toei lines only. If Oshiage station, how far is the walk to the Skytree? Is there any nice and inexpensive ramen places or shabu shabu in that area for lunch? Also saw that there's an aquarium in the basement, wonder if it's worth going with a 15 year old? Thanks!

In that case you should take the Asakusa Line to Oshiage. Or you could walk from Sensoji to the Skytree in about 20 minutes.

The Skytree complex stands above Oshiage Station. There are direct exits from the station into the Skytree complex. But it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from the platform to the ticket office of the Skytree at the very base of the actual tower.

It is a small but nicely done aquarium. It is also overpriced. So, I only recommend it if you are not too budget-conscious.
