Renew spousal visa without job

is it easier to renew the spousal visa without actually having a job ? im quitting my job these days but i still dont have a replacement while i have to apply to renew my visa next month, will it be there any problem ? ive been living here 2 years now.

It is not "easier" without a job.

But resident status as "spouse of Japanese national" is based on your relationship with your spouse. AND as a couple the two of you need to be able to support yourselves financially, having a job helps.

I believe nowadays Immigration authorities require that the Japanese spouse submits his/her tax payment record (that shows the total income and tax payment status for a full year). Or if the Japanese spouse cannot provide that, the non-Japanese applicant needs to provide that.
