I will be visiting Furano in mid July and understand that it would be a peak season. Can we purchase the above train tickets online and in the event the train is full what is the best option can I take.

Can we purchase the above train tickets onlineIt seems that it is possible to make seat reservations online here (but only if you do not use a JR pass): https://www3.jrhokkaido.co.jp/rail-en/asp/RWY010.aspxand in the event the train is full what is the best option can I take.All the trains have unreserved seating that can be used without a prior seat reservation. You may not be able to sit, though.
