JR Kanto Pass on JR Tokaido Line

I understand that JR Kanto Pass cannot be used on Tokaido Shinkansen. But can it be used on JR Tokaido Line?
For example, from Shinagawa to Atami or from Atami to Fuji.

Shinagawa to Atami is covered, but you can't go west from Atami to Fuji. (You can only go south, up to Ito.)
