Getting from Narita to Narita Aeon Mall

We will have about 5 hours to spare in Narita International airport waiting for our flight home. Exploring some options on where we may spend the time. Hence, thinking of visiting Aeon Mall. There are 3 of us. Wonder how much would the cab fare be as the public transport seem a bit time consuming. Or perhaps there are better places to visit nearby?

Hi Bssg. Thanks for the links. Yes, transit. We are scheduled to arrive from New Chitose at 10.30am. Our next flight is 5.30pm. Not sure how swift is the domestic customs clearance but it think we can safely say we've 4-5 hrs to kill.

Check out the main Japan Guide website, it's full of info for you. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6400.html You could see a temple and have a bath, it appears! (I know I'd rather do that than go to a mall. But I've never been to Narita City so what do I know?) I *think* I've even read threads on the forum where people were discussing organised short tours that are available from the airport for stopover passengers like you (but I may have been mistaken and be thinking of another city. It's worth doing a forum/google search though, maybe?) Great idea to make the most of your time, instead of hanging around at the airport. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the links, guys! Actually we would have spent 3 days in Tokyo and a week in Hokkaido already by then. Yes, definitely hope to enjoy more of Japan even if it's 4-5 hrs instead of hanging around in the airport. May go Samara Town instead. Will see which one more convenient. Thanks again!
