Using Suica card from Nagoya to Suzuka

Is it possible to travel from Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit using a Suica Card? We are going to the Grand Prix and are currently trying to work out the best way to travel from Nagoya to the track. As we will all have Suica cards I thought it might be easier to use these, but not sure if it is possible. If it is possible, would it work on both JR line and Kintetsu line? Thanks for any help you might be able to give. :)

By Kintetsu (HIRATACHŌ or SHIROKO stn) only possible. Ise Testudo/Railway line([not JR/Kintetsu] Suzukasākitto-Inō stn) are not covered. No closest JR stn. Suica cvered unti JR Yokkaichi stn but cannot IC card fare adjustment as over ride error at Suzukasākitto-Inō stn.(return, too) JR trains operates for Suzukasākitto-Inō via Ise Testudo/Railway line from JR Nagoya as one train no need transfering. http://www.kanko.suzuka.mie.jp/eng/gifs/root.gif

I would highly recommend going to Shiroko station, then buying a bus ticket to the circuit. I did this for practice and quali days, and had b no problems whatsoever, the locals and staff very friendly and helpful. I took the JR (I think it was Ltd. express) that they only did on race day, buying a reserved ticket both ways. Journey there was fine, but be prepared to walk about a mile on very shabby ground to just reach the circuit car park... On the way back, there was no reserved train for some reason, everyone was boarded onto one train which terminated early, then stuck on a second one back to Nagoya, clearly not what I payed for.
In short: go to Shiroko. Suixa card will work, but you'll need cash for the bus. (Can't say how crowded the train will be on race day, but overall I think it is the best option when traveling from Nagoya.)
Enjoy!

Kintetsu Shiroko station is fine, and shuttle buses are available. But I have heard from taxi drivers near there that the buses get so full and traffic to the circuit so congested that some people even walked from Shiroko Station to the circuit (5km) on race days. So be prepared (or go early).

Did the three days in 2013 using just the train. First time out we had to change/wait at the private railway transfer. General comment is that the train wasn't as good as I had experienced as other GPs had better crowd movement.
On race day we left a little early (it had gone into the late dull phase) and we managed an express back to Nagoya - crowded, but we found some fun/interesting locals to chat to on the way. I expect departing later would have been more tedious.
