Trip to Mt Fuji

I want to visit mount Fuji in mid oct. Can I have some:-
a) Travel guide
b) Transportation info from tokyo city to Mt Fuji, Getting Around.
c) Places of interest surrounding mt Fuji.
d) Which onsen I can go
e) Transportation price.

After a long day having fun at FujiQ Highland I would definitely not want to hike Mt. Fuji afterwards, especially looking at night time hours past 6pm. I would recommend going the following day after a nights rest. By the way, bring a lot of snacks/water for the hike :)
