Parking while visiting Miyajima

Hi, we will be driving to Hiroshima and planning to stay a night at Miyajima on 23rd Nov 2015. As for Miyajima is located on the island, may I seek your advice where can we park our car overnight while taking ferry to Miyajima. Your reply is very much appreciated. Thanks

around Nov. 23rd are holidays and the highest peak season.
it will be extremely crowded.
I don't recommend to go there by car.
(If I were you, I will not go there at that time.)

20th would be a better choice, as 21st is the beginning of the long weekend, and 23rd is the kinro kansha no hi holiday.
