Mt Fuji Toll Road opening times 2015/6/27 20:17
I'm planning to climb Mt Fuji in a couple days and I will be doing this over night so I reach the top by sunrise etc.

My concern is whether the toll roads will be open at night? I am driving and planning on parking at the 5th station and hiking up from there. I don't think I will be arriving until roughly 11pm so I'm a little concerned about whether the toll road will actually be open.

Just to clarify I am not 100% which of the routes to take but myself and the others are all fit so difficulty isn't a concern. This is why my question is vague. It seems a mate of mine wants to do the trail with the running down section (shubashiri maybe).

Any info would be appreciated.

The road is closed to regular cars from July 10 to August 31, 2015.

The opening hours of the road outside these dates are explained here:

The bus lines are very easy to take from Shinjuku. I took the bus the first time I climbed and will be doing it again when I climb next week.

That's presuming you climb from Kawaguchiko. If you go via the Gotemba trail (the one with the Osunabashiri sand run), you can access the trailhead year round by your own car:
