Using Kansai Thru Pass 2015/6/30 11:47
Hello my friends

Well, this is my 3-days plan, and I need to know if I can use the Pass in all the ways.

Day 1: Arriving to KIX, train to Osaka center, hotel, and moving around the city using the included metros and buses in the Pass

Day 2: Osaka Station to Koyasan, using Nankai Koya Rail, CableCar, and Nankai Rinkan Buses to get the Okunoin's cemetery. Return to Osaka

Day 3: Osaka to Kyoto, hotel and moving around the city using the included metros and buses in the Pass.

Can I do all this trip using exclusively the Kansai Thru Pass?

Thanks in advance

Hi rivermivida,
Yes I belive it would be worth using a Kansai Thru Pass.

From KIX you can use Nankai to Osaka (Nankai-Namba), as well as using subways and busses in Osaka, Kyoto, Koya, etc. + Cablecar in Koya.

I used it when I went around Kansai area (including Koya).

The 3-day version is 5200 JPY.

Not however that you cannot use limited express trains by Nankai (Koya, KIX) or Kintetsu (Nara) with this pass but can pay a supplement fee for that.
