Diving and beaches in Izu

Hi,
I plan to stay in Ito for a few days in mid august.
I would like to know some opinions about the sea there, beaches and dive sites, if possible.
One thing that kinda bugs me is that it's so close to Tokio bay, so the water shouldn't be the top...
Any idea?

Use a browser with auto translate - you don't need to speak the language (for most web sites) to understand it - ignore the poor grammar of the machine translation - it's what I do when I need to read russian or german sites.

Ok thanks, that's what I did.
Seeing the photos I guess it's worth a visit :)
One last thing, is it simple to move along the coast of Izu peninsula from Ito by bus?
