Hi All,
Just a quick question- 21,22 & 23 Sept 2015 are public holidays. Do all dept stores close on these days/ (eg Ikea)

IKEA I believe is open all year around except for Jan. 1st. And department stores have their occasional "closed" days (once in a while) but each department store selects a different day from the weekdays, not on weekends. In Japan, weekends are when people go shopping, so they do not close.
