Oirase Stream and Lake Towada

I have planned to visit Oirase Stream and Lake Towada in October, this year. My plan is to take a bus from Hachinohe, get out of the bus at Ishigedo bus stop, walk along the stream to Nenokuchi and take a boat to Yasumiya, then take a bus back to Hachinohe.
My questions is;
- How much time should I spare for this trip, start from Hachinohe? I'm a guy, travel alone and healthy. And I am the amateur photographer though.
- Is the leaf has change color already in the mid-Oct?
- How can I find the bus schedule and boat schedule?

Yes, the leaves have changed color at this time. Do start off early, as travelling time takes 1-2 hrs to reach. Nice place to visit, being there 3 times. Enjoy!!

If you're an avid photographer, I'd suggest about 4 hours for the walking portion. I took about that time when I last went there.

In average year the latter half of Oct is a better time for autumn foliage in Oirase Stream and Towada-ko.

Re : the timetable for the cruise around Lake Towada, does anyone which stop corresponds to which column in the pdf document ?

The first column is FROM Yasumiya (odd numbered boats) and the second column is TO Yasumiya (even numbered boats).
