Bus from Lake Akan to Mashu or Kawayu Station

Hi,
Does any one can advise me?
Planing to go to Abashiri from Lake Akan in February,2016.
But only can find the bus from Lake akan to Kitami then from Kitami take JR to Abashiri, reach Abashiri almost 3:00pm.
I am asking ,Is there any bus from Lake akan to the nearby station just like Mashu Station or Kawayu Station, so I can save more time to take the train from there to Abashiri.
Please Advise and appreciated for any assistance

Higashi Hokkaido express bus http://www.easthokkaido.com/bus/might fit your itinerary. However, as far as I understand, this bus service is only for guests of some hotels involved in the program. You should ask your hotel whether you can use it.
