Trips outside Tokyo

We are planning to sleep at Hakone 1 night,is it worth to stay there 2 nights ?
Any seggestions where to travel from Hakone to another place ? and maybe also to stay there 1 night ?

There are many places to travel to from Hakone like Atami and Ito. Izu Peninsular. But i would rather go back to Tokyo and do a day trip from there.

With regards to the two days or one day, well, Hakone is a place just to chill and relax. If that is not your thing, move along, if not 2 days is fine. three is too much though. If you get sick of it on the first day but still want some lake views you can pop by Fuji5Lakes for a couple of hours.

There is a bus route that goes from Hakone Machi and/or Moto Hakone over the mountain and down to Yugawara, an old hot spring resort . Nearby Cape Manazuru is also interesting.
It is one stop from Atami on the JR Tokaido line. Atami is just a jumble of concrete hotels, in my opinion.
