Is Nipponbashi Station area in Osaka safe?

With my husband & daughter, we got a place to stay near Nipponbashi station. We like to stroll going Dotonbori, Amerimura, Shinsaibashi... I wonder if if it's safe to stroll in the night going back to our apartment. I think my daughter (34 yo) will be going alone sometimes. Is it a very safe area?

How late at night? I've been there till after 10 pm and didn't feel the least bit threatened.
