13 days in Japan solo. need ideas for trip

Hi I will be in Japan from 6-19 of august.
I will be in tokyo 6-10 (chiyoda)
Kyoto 10-15 (near Kyoto station
Tokyo 15-19. (Shibuya )
I plan to visit uji and Osaka while in Kyoto.
I need ideas for Tokyo side trips . the hotels are booked in chiyoda and shibuya.
And I also need tis for things to do that aren't temples and shrines in both Tokyo and Kyoto. Most sites have those covered and I don't want to bombard my trip with only temples and such.
I have the onsen part covered as well.
Any good tips for fun activities or out of the ordinary experiences.
I fly soon so all tips are welcome. Maybe a sake tasting that you recommend or tea plantation to visit.
Also do you think it's possible to visit the daio wasabi farm? How would you go about to visit that or is there another wasabi farm (with similar experience) near Kyoto or Tokyo.

I'd start with telling us what you are mostly interested in. Museums? Nature? Anime? Culture? Shopping? Food?

Well I enjoy nature and strolling around but I'm seeking "newbie adventure" and maybe anime stuff (I know akihabara etc) but more like theme parks.
Activities such as sake tasting or sushi classes.
Maybe samurai shows (fake sword fights?)
I travel solo therefore I have a lot of time to fill up between shopping, museums and temples.
Tips on places to go in the outskirts of Tokyo and Kyoto that doesn't require an overnight stay.
i heard there is a mountain superclose to Tokyo.
+ I enjoy seeing superweird stuff that makes me go wtf.

Thanks for the reply. I am from Sweden.
I'm already planning a visit to tsukuji. Sweden has a ton of beer from all over the world.
Nikko sound's nice but is it a day trip?

Honestly, if in Tokyo in August the first thing I'd like to do is get out of there. You asked about day trips, you could take one to Karuizawa - much cooler, and beautiful scenery. Kumamoto/Enoshima is also a great day trip, and you can walk on the beach as well. For the Kansai area, don't miss Nara. The Todaiji Great Buddha is a must see place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiGqHkHIPWsIf you are already seeing Tokyo, you can mostly skip Osaka in the day time. But at night it is really worth visiting, especially Dotonbori at night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COJ_MeXbeowHimeji Castle is also the best in the country and close by. The Kokoen Garden next to it is also very nice.
