I will be a day tripper to Nyuto onsen.
Q: Will I be able to purchase the "onsen pass" (1550 yen) to visit the 7 onsen and access free shuttle?
Q: Are day trippers only allowed to visit onsen from 11am To 2/3pm?
Any other tips you know would be appreciated.

Are day trippers only allowed to visit onsen from 11am To 2/3pm?Details depend on the ryokan. This website lists admission and opening hours for all the onsen: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3650.html
