Hakone from Osaka to Tokyo 2015/9/2 13:02
Hi,

I intend to visit Hakone in one day (Circle Visit).
My plan is to check out the hotel in Osaka early morning, visit Hakone, make the circle visit, and then follow to Tokyo to check in in my hotel at evenning.
Is it possible?
Do you guys recommend that?

It will take you 3.5 to 4 hours to get to Hakone-Yumoto station from Osaka. Which means if you want to get to Hakone around 10, you need to leave Osaka at 6. You also need to change trains multiple times, which might be tricky with luggage (unless you send it from Osaka to meet you in Tokyo). I personally wouldn't want to spend 3+ hours on a train before spending a full day out.

If possible, I would go straight to Tokyo and spend the afternoon sightseeing; then do a daytrip to Hakone from Tokyo the next day.

Your plan is definitely possible, though!

Possible to do, but if you enjoy hot springs, you might want to stay overnight in Hakone.
