Date for 2016 Juhyo Festival at Zao Onsen

We planing to go to Zao Onsen for snowboarding during end of January, beginning February.
If possible, we want to be at Zao Onsen during the Juhyo Festival. Even after searching for some time, I couldn't find any information about the date. Maybe not announced yet?
We also want to go to Niseko and join the Sapporo Snow Festival, so don't want to wait too long for booking...
Any information would be nice,

Depending on the weather the date for Juhyo Festival (Festival of Fire and Ice) varies from year to year. It was Jan 31 this year with additional fireworks on the following 2 Saturdays in Feb. But in the past year it had been held on Feb 1 and in 2007 it was Feb 3. So it seems that you have to wait as the time draws near for a confirmed schedule. One thing for sure though is the dates for the winter light-up which are set on selected days during late Dec this year and Jan 2016 as well as the month of Feb. http://zaoropeway.co.jp/zao/winter/lightup.html
