When is the Toyohashi Gion Matsuri for 2016?

Hello, my cousin and I are going to Japan in the summer of 2016 and would like to know if the Toyohashi Gion Matsuri will happen when we are there. We will be in Japan from July 19-August 9. Thanks.

In average year the festival is held on the third Fri, Sat and Sun of each July. It seems that this year due to a typhoon the event was held only on Jul 18-19. Monitor the following website for update information of next year schedule. http://www.toyohashigion.org/
